2024-25 WWC Board Openings
Join this group of dynamic women to work on marketing the club and events to the community, and to the membership. No prior experience needed. This can be a co-chair position, or can even be just taking on one task instead of the whole job. Looking to get more involved? This is the place for you!
Congratulations to Cali Hage!
Cali is the 2024 winner of the Elizabeth Sternad Scholarship.
This award honors our club’s Founder and long-time Wilton resident Betty Sternad, and goes to a woman who displays outstanding and ongoing service, leadership and character.
Cali has shown her commitment to serving others by spending her time providing basic needs of food and clothing to individuals and families in Fairfield County and upstate New York. She has organized numerous food and clothing drives, and volunteers with the Wilton Food Pantry, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center in Stamford, and the Angel Network in upstate New York.
We had an excellent historical tour of our local Hillside Cemetery, a beautiful 27 acre property in the middle of Wilton. Leader Pam Brown honored the many interesting women buried there, including Mary Emma Woolley, president of Mt. Holyoke from 1900-1937, and the first female student at Brown University.
Thank You Wilton Auto & Tire
WWC members and our teen drivers enjoyed a very fun and informative event last night, learning all about preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, wheel alignment, and why it is important. Now we understand brake pads, rotors, and why that crazy Tire Pressure light comes on so much and what to do about it!
