​​"Your child has cancer." The words no parent wants to hear.

Yet Circle of Care - a Wilton-based nonprofit - has helped 3,800 families in Connecticut, Westchester, NY and Springfield, MA over the last 20 years, after they heard those words.

While doctors work with families on medical solutions to pediatric cancer, Circle of Care helps with everything else:

• Everything you need when you have to go to the hospital immediately upon diagnosis - the Circle of Care Bag of Love: water, paper/pen, comfort items, words of encouragement, who to call when you need more information, Purple Pages resources

• Paying for groceries, utilities, and mortgage or rent payments after one partner has to stop working to care for their child

• Dream Room Makeovers for children 

• Social events where children and their parents can bond with other families outside of a hospital

• And much, much more, every day from the day of diagnosis to a year after remission, whenever you need help
