The Wilton Woman's Club helps our community by stocking the Wilton Food Pantry, working closely with Wilton Social Services on events for seniors, maintaining the lawn area on Old Ridgefield Road, and other projects as needed. See below to find out more and RSVP to events!

Comstock Community Center
Sign up to go to the CT Food Bank in Stamford and fill up two boxes with meat and two boxes with fresh produce, then bring them to the Wilton Food Pantry. This is needed every Monday morning. Visit https://www.wiltonwomansclub.com/commservice for instructions and training.

Wilton Food Pantry

2 hrs per trip, every 4-8 weeks (Monday mornings), Sign up for what you can!
Drive to The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in Stamford to pick up meat and produce, and bring it back to the Wilton Food Pantry (Comstock).

Time Commitment:
30 -45 minutes,
3 -4 times per year
Volunteers maintain plantings on the WWC plot at Horseshoe Pond.

Ogden House -

Hosts for Senior Lunches

1.5 - 2 hrs, 6 Wednesdays per year, depending on number of volunteers
Serve lunch at Ogden House for approximately 30 Seniors.

Two Wednesdays per year
Volunteers shop for and prepare lunch at Ogden House for approximately 30 Seniors

Hot Holiday Meals

for the Homebound

2 hours, morning of December 24
Volunteers each prepare a portion of the meal at home, then meet at Ogden House to assemble and wrap individual plates to be delivered to recipients.

for the Homebound

2-3 hrs, day before Thanksgiving
Volunteers each prepare a portion of the meal at home, then meet to assemble and wrap individual plates to be delivered to recipients.

Thanksgiving Basket for Wilton Social Services - Receiving

2 hours
Volunteers receive donated food baskets at Wilton Food Pantry and organize donations. Late afternoon volunteers help reorganize Pantry after drop-offs are complete.

Thanksgiving Basket for Wilton Social Services - Supply

2 hours
Purchase an item for the WWC Thanksgiving Dinner Basket. The WWC provides Wilton Social Services with a basket containing everything needed to prepare and serve Thanksgiving Dinner.

Junior Leadership Program

1-2 hours, 3-4 times per year
Middle school and high school age daughters of members
Volunteers help with Hot Meals for Wilton Homebound Residents, and decide other community projects where they want to help.
